Reorganization and Conceptual Variation with Digital Art

Stewart's text describes the process of reorganization and conceptual variations during the design process. I have encountered this numerous times while working on my projects, mostly because I head one way with my idea and then decide I should move the visual objects around to create a different layout. I find that this is very easy to do with digital art just because it's so simple to move a text box or image to try out a new design. And I can even save as so that my original is still there if I want to revert back to it. However, with paintings and sculptures this would be much more difficult. I wonder if sculptors get more frustrated than digital artists just because of this fact... Food for thought...
